Upcoming Grant Application Deadlines

Complete signed and dated applications are due received by email, mail or hand carried to the Atwood Foundation office by 5:30pm on the deadline date.

Notification of award or rejection will be sent to all applicants. Funds are generally disbursed at the end of the month of consideration.

Eligible Organizations

What We Support
The Atwood Foundation awards grants to non-profit 501( c ) 3 organizations serving Anchorage residents and visitors. Our areas of focus are the arts, journalism, history, the active duty military community and related activities that engage families and educate youth. We also support post secondary journalism education at the University of Alaska, Anchorage and scholarships at Alaska Pacific University.
Before Applying
Before applying for the first time, please call and consult with us at least two weeks before the deadline.
First time applicants who do not consult with us in advance are usually not funded. Thank you.
